# Adding fields
There are two ways to add a new field to your survey:
**Inside a section**
1. Hover over or under an existing field
2. Click on the **+** button
3. Select the field type you wish to add
**From an existing field**
1. Hover over an existing field
2. Click on the **+** button on the right
3. Inside the added field area, click on the **+** button
4. Select the field type you wish to add
