Accessibility statement
This statement covers the Pristo Help Center at docs.pristo.io, the site you are reading now. It does not cover the Pristo CX app or the questionnaires that respondents answer. For the questionnaires, see Accessibility of questionnaires.
Standard
Section titled “Standard”The Help Center aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and to the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content. This statement describes our own testing. It is not a certification.
How the site supports accessibility
Section titled “How the site supports accessibility”| Area | What the site does |
|---|---|
| Automated testing | Every proposed change to the site is tested with the axe accessibility engine against its rules for WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA. The test fails on any serious or critical issue |
| Themes and screens | The tests run in the light and the dark theme, on a desktop screen and on a mobile phone screen |
| Pages tested | Every page in English, Spanish and Hebrew, a sample page of each page type, the API reference, the 404 page and a right-to-left test page in each language |
| Languages | The site is in English, Spanish and Hebrew. Every page declares its language, so screen readers use the right voice |
| Right to left | Hebrew pages read from right to left. Automated tests check that the menu, the steps, the notes and the tables are mirrored, and that code stays left to right |
| Keyboard | The first link on every page skips to the main content. Search opens with Ctrl+K, or Cmd+K on a Mac. Code blocks and tables that scroll sideways can take keyboard focus |
| Search | Search works in all three languages. Hebrew search is tested with inflected words and synonyms |
| Text alternatives | Every image needs a text alternative. The build check fails if an image has none, unless the image is marked as decorative |
| Diagrams | Diagrams are drawn separately for each language, so their labels match the page |
Known limitations
Section titled “Known limitations”- The API reference is in English only, in every language of the site.
- A page that is not translated yet shows the English text, with a notice.
- Screenshots may show an older version of the Pristo CX app than the text describes.
- Automated tests find only some kinds of problems. They do not replace testing by people who use assistive technology.
