Plans and limits

Every Pristo CX account is on one of three plans: Free, Standard or Pro. The plan decides which features the account can use, and it sets limits such as how many questionnaires, responses and users the account can have. An account admin sees the current plan under Account settings > Billing.

Pristo’s price list and sales packages can use other names. The app always shows the plan as one of these three. The exact limits depend on your package, so this page doesn’t list them. For the limits of your package, contact Pristo through the Pristo contact page.

Limit What happens at the limit Where you see it
Questionnaires New questionnaire opens an upgrade message instead of the new questionnaire dialog. The limit counts every questionnaire in the account, in every program, including deleted ones. In an account with several programs, the dialog can open, and a message about the limit appears when you save instead The upgrade message. On a paid plan, also Questionnaires in use under Billing > Overview
Responses per questionnaire At 90% of the limit, Pristo CX warns you. At the limit, it records no new responses, and the questionnaire’s links show a page saying it is no longer available. Responses above the limit, for example after a downgrade, show a lock and don’t open The warning on the Responses page, and an email to account admins who keep Response limit reached turned on
Users Active users plus pending invitations can’t be more than the account’s seats. On the Free plan, the account has one seat unless Pristo has set another number. On a paid plan, the seats are the number of users in the subscription Next to Invite under Account settings > Users
Export format and values XLSX files and Key values show a lock when the plan doesn’t include them The New export dialog. See Export responses
Export date range The last day of an export can’t be more than a set number of days after the first The note under Dates in the New export dialog

Program admins and program users who reach a limit see To upgrade the plan, ask your account admin.

Limit Value
Questionnaires in an account Up to 1,000, even when the plan allows more
Exports in progress at the same time Up to 5 per account
Active API keys Up to 10 per account, on the plans that include API access
  • Account settings > Billing > Overview shows the Current plan, the billing Period and, on a paid plan, the renewal date and price. Only account admins can open it.
  • UPGRADE in the header, which only account admins see, opens the plans with each plan’s main features and its price per user per month. If Pristo set up a package for your account, its limits can differ from that list.

An account admin with a verified email address changes the plan, the number of users and the billing period. See Change your plan and billing details.

  • An upgrade applies as soon as the payment goes through. Responses that were locked by the response limit open again, up to the new plan’s limit.
  • A cancellation takes effect when the paid period ends. The account then moves to the Free plan with one seat, and if it has more questionnaires than that plan allows, Pristo CX deactivates the extra ones, starting with those that have the fewest responses. An inactive questionnaire accepts no new responses.
