A dashboard in Pristo CX is a page of widgets that shows scores, trends and breakdowns of your responses. Each program has its own dashboards under the Dashboards tab. Account admins and program admins build and publish dashboards, and program users open the dashboards an admin shares with them.
The dashboards lobby
Section titled “The dashboards lobby”The Dashboards tab opens the lobby: one card for each dashboard in the active program, with a thumbnail of its first rows. Built-in reports come first and carry the Built-in badge.
Admins, meaning account admins and program admins, see every dashboard in the program. Each card shows its status, Published or Not published, and how many viewers it has. Program users see only the published dashboards they are viewers of.
Creating and editing a dashboard
Section titled “Creating and editing a dashboard”An admin selects Create dashboard, names the dashboard and adds widgets with Add widget. Widgets sit in rows. You can move a widget, change its width and adjust the row height.
A dashboard has a draft and a published version:
- Save & publish publishes the draft and opens the dashboard. Viewers always see the published version.
- The Actions menu has Save (keep the draft without publishing), Unpublish, Discard changes since publish, Viewers…, Delete and Exit without saving.
- Publishing is blocked while any widget has configuration errors, such as a missing source questionnaire. The editor highlights those widgets.
- Deleting a dashboard cannot be undone.
For the steps, see Create a dashboard, Dashboard widgets and Share a dashboard.
Widget types
Section titled “Widget types”The add-widget dialog groups the 14 widget types into four sections. You choose the metric first and then how to present it.
| Section | Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Activity and volume | Respondent count | Complete responses that meet the conditions. You can limit it to some distribution channels |
| Send count | How many times questionnaires were sent by SMS, email or both | |
| Response rate in period | The share of sent questionnaires that were completed in the period | |
| Alert count | The number of alerts raised, with the status All, Open or Closed. Show details lists the alerts behind the number; see Handle alerts | |
| Scores and answers | NPS | Net Promoter Score from a question, with the promoter and detractor values you choose. It can show as a gauge |
| Satisfaction score | A normalized score from one or more questions, on a base of 5, 7, 10 or 100 | |
| Numeric answer average | The average answer to a numeric question | |
| Answer distribution | The count and percentage of respondents for each answer option | |
| Text analysis | Text sentiment | How positive or negative the open answers are, from -100 to +100 |
| Text categories | Which topics the open answers mention, and the sentiment of each | |
| Text intent | What respondents want: a complaint, praise, a question, a request or a suggestion | |
| Visual elements | Title | A heading that separates areas of the dashboard |
| Text | A free text block for an explanation or a note. Web addresses in it are not links | |
| Spacer | Empty space between widgets in a row |
The text analysis widgets read the open answers that Insights analyzes, and Insights needs the Pro plan. Until an open question is set up for analysis, the dialog shows these widgets as unavailable, with a link to Text analysis settings.
The widget editor
Section titled “The widget editor”Selecting a data widget opens its editor, which has four tabs:
| Tab | What you set |
|---|---|
| General | The title and subtitle, the source questionnaire and question, settings for the widget type, and the data display: Single number or Over time |
| Segmentation | The data breakdown. NPS and satisfaction widgets can also show only the highest or lowest values |
| Filtering | A permanent filter that applies to this widget only |
| Display | The display format, such as Table, Bar chart, Pie or Line chart, and options such as Show an overall-average line or Score bar color |
Title and text widgets have a simpler editor for the text, alignment and font size. A spacer has no settings.
Segmentation and filters
Section titled “Segmentation and filters”Segmentation breaks a widget’s data down by the contact or event attributes of the program’s population, up to 3 levels, each nested inside the one above. Filters work at two levels. Each widget can have a permanent filter of conditions joined with AND, or with OR on a single field. The dashboard also has a filter bar with a date range, such as Last 30 days, and the attribute filters an admin adds with Edit filters. Anyone who opens the dashboard can choose values in the filter bar and select Apply. See Filter and segment dashboard data.
Built-in reports
Section titled “Built-in reports”Every program has one built-in report, the Distributions Report. It shows the sends, complete responses and the answers to each question of one questionnaire, for a date range you choose. A built-in report cannot be edited or deleted. Admins choose who can view it, the same way as for any dashboard. See Built-in reports.
Who can see and edit a dashboard
Section titled “Who can see and edit a dashboard”| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Account admin | Create, edit, publish, unpublish and delete dashboards, and choose viewers, in every program. Sees every dashboard, published or not |
| Program admin | The same as an account admin, in the programs they admin |
| Program user | Opens the published dashboards and built-in reports they are a viewer of. Cannot edit them |
Admins choose viewers with Viewers… on a lobby card, in the editor’s Actions menu or with Viewers on an open dashboard. Only program users of the same program can be viewers. Opening a dashboard you cannot view shows Dashboard not found and returns you to the lobby.
